Even though Jacky Winter’s Diego Patino now calls Australia home, he is still receiving much-deserved artistic props in his home country of Colombia. Most recently, he was asked to be part of the Bicentario Pop exhibition, a project developed by the government to encourage citizens to reflect on the events that gave rise to their nation. Each artist was asked to create a modern portrait of a pivotal figure in the Independence in the Americas. Here is Diego’s Policarpa Salavarrieta.
